Wait I havent heard much about the pistol balance pass. Are they doing that much mroe damage? Anyone have the rought numbers on this? I really hope MORE people arent gonna be flickering DL!

I have been an advocate of the Spiker since day 1. I am glad hardly anyone uses it though because it is overpowered as hell and I like to be the only one using them on the battlefield

Meh i realy don't liek any of the pistols.

I think that thee shoudl be two types of pistols in this game, the SA pistols(for infils /silenced) and then Sidearm Pistols(in MA) that can only be used by the agile and above, a heafty pistol/UZI(if TR), that can be used as a reliable back up weapon if you have a sniper rifle as agile, or if you run out of rounds with yout MA weapon.
NC get something like a .45
TR get an uzi thingy
VS get some odd laser beam thingamagiger

I agree with that, I would much prefer a revolver than the Mag...

I would have to go with the repeater because its a great pistol, but if I had a second choice then I would go with the beamer, I actually rake up the kills with that thing without a cloak suit.

As a somewhat sad side note, i just wanted to point out i was attempting to hold the spawns by myself in a tower, and only with my AMP. So a guys spawns, pulls his suppressor and opens up on me in agile. I fire and manage to kill him. I stare at astonishment that i managed to go toe to toe with somewhat "better" gun. Then i did it again. Is it me or at close range does the AMP own the suppressor in stats?

I think most infiltrators get their kills through dropping CE stuff. I've seen a ton of cloakers running around spamming areas with spitfire turrets the past few weeks, but only one or two cloakers who used a pistol and tried to kill someone with it.

When cloaking i try to pick up a repeater for long range kills, or just circle them with the amp. I used to use the mag, but then came the rexo buff, and if you miss or not hit with all the pellets, your done.

Umm....I'm sure half the people here are cloakers.

MAG just isn't that great for cloakers anymore. The ammo is too selective (even more so than the beamer), so restocking in the field is difficult. the range is....bad.... and for the ammount of damage it does, you might as well get melee booster and whip out the knife, cuz it will work better.

Well I admit is has been too long since I played. When I last played Surgile Skeeter droppers were the main trend. Me and my Enforcer were the weirdos hehe.

i like the repeater but i'm NC so i have to snag 'em every chance i get. heh. it's nice to couple it with the Phoenix in agile armor.. i dunno, not too powerful but good, nonetheless
