Support MAX?

I was thinking. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a support MAX. Like CE or Adv Med. Just load up with an ass load of ACEs and Med juice and engy juice and go to town. Having 650 armor still and using the 1, 2, and 3 keys to switch between the three (if the pilot has them all). They really wouldn't really have any defence for themselves but a MAX suit full of ACEs could hook up a tower or CY with a quickness, not to mention a mobile repair / heal post sort of.

Lets give maxes amp station benifits and TR maxes belt fed ammo first, then add a support max.

I'd like them to be faster and more mobile than regular ones, for lack of defense.

My problem with the current MAXes is they should have been what the BFRs will be from the start.

Anyway, I think the speed of them is fine, but they need a little more defenses or, more utility. This would go a long way to doing that.

Maybe though, instead of a whole new MAX, or even in addition to it, give all the current MAXes a utility slot. Most would just put in a BANK, but don't allow them to use anything on itself. So MAXes would still require teamwork...cept for the REK ones.

no. no REKs at least. If you give a MAX a rek, the nyou defeat the purpose of every other armor class. period.

I'd say no to all of these, actually. MAXes are SUPOSED to be specialized COMBAT armors. they were INTENTIONALLY given only one function: Combat. If you give them support roles, especially a REK, what point to the other armors? Cloakers? screw that, 650 armor makes up for invisibility any day. AV? hell, i'll just pund the shit outta you with my MAX, and have my three support MAXes healing me the whole time. See what I mean?

Its a good idea but who's going to sit in a support max all day when they can get in a real max? and actually go kill people instead of healing/repairing friendlies and scaring newbie cloackers?

no, it's not a good idea. it's a terrible idea. MAX units are for combat only. They have no business toting support equipment. The reason you have REXO with a glue gun is to repair MAX's.. no MAX with a glue gun. The purpose of the MAX is to do damage. That's its job.
