1 v 1, nc will win, but with barly any amrour left. But 2 v 1, nc will loss.

It all depends on what weapons you have equipped. If you dont have weapons suitable for BFR vs BFR combat, you will most certainly lose to one that does. The downside is that if you go out with say the shieldsucker and AV your gonna get owned by aircraft and grunts. If you take an AA and AI(or shieldsucker) your gonna get owned by everyone in thier tank waiting for thier BFR timer to expire

Considering a BFR can not penetrate another BFR's shield, it would be a long ass battle. But let's say neither one has shields, both have AV weaponry, both have equal skill, Colossus all the way. Because it has the Superioir armor.

That's assuming all the AV weapons are equal. I don't believe that's the case.

You could be right.

But then let's look at the factor of SOE balance

Collossus = Heavy Armor/weak weapons
Enemy BFR = Weak Armor/Heavy Weapons

This is where it depends on individual skill

heh, in a dual AV situation (would be suicidal to go 1v1 without dual av)

I've tested a dual AV Peringrine vs a dual AV aphelion, close range (optimum for both BFRs), the aphelion crouching, the peringrine standing, both holding down the fire button. The peringrine wins, the aphelion never penetrates the sheilds. When the Aphelion tries to dodge and the peringrine stands still, the peringrine kills it even faster.

Can't say anything about the colosus, only stole one, and it got OS'd about 20 seconds later :-/

I chose TR Collosus all the way. Why? Here goes (putting on flame retardent armor):

1. Fights are never 1-vs-1, and since all TR weapons are designed to require teamwork; most of the TR players have either realized this and work better together with those around us or changed sides for the solo-orriented NC hippes and/or overpowered but undermanned VS techno-freaks.

2. TR propeganda say's we're #1. Therefore we must be #1.

I think the Aphelion would have beaten the Colossus, cause of better movement.
Against the Peregrine I dunno

From what I've read, the VS/NC don't have more powerful weapons, they're just easy to use. Our AV guns are the strongest, but they have a fire arc, so they take skill to aim with even against a stationary target. VS and NC have no fire arc for their AV guns, but they're weaker because of it.

So at close range, a Colossus should beat an Aphelion and maybe a Peregrine, but the Peregrine's AV guns are at their peak up close, having damage degredation over range, so I dunno who'd win.

In the past few days I've realized that two infantry are a greater threat to a BFR then an enemy BFR.

I would agree as long as the BFR doesnt have AI guns equipped. I shred grunts even with 1 AI gun. The best thing is for BFRs to go out in pairs each backing up the other one. have one with AA and AV and other with AI and perhaps another AI or an AV
