Outfit process once ingame

Is this gonna be set up like other mmo's where you need to go to a terminal have a certain # of members online at one time to make an outfit? Or can you once in game create your own personal outfit if you wish? What im hoping is that 1 person cant just set up his own outfit by himself. I really dont wanna see 1manarmy, or Party of One outfits running around the continents

Yes, I think the minimum is 20, but I can't remember the exact number for sure.

the way i understand it is that you can register an outfit before hand, but you need a min of 12 people to do so, but not all have to be on-line at any time....

Could be wrong, and im sure they will change this a bit over time....

I hope min is a squad, so that people can have just a small, but powerful (with smart command) outfit..

I think that min should be 3, or even 1. So long as someone is there, I dont see why not.... We will be able to see the outfits info in the system, so its not like they can hide anything... And since getting CEP has nothing to do with outfits directly, I dont see any issues....

Am i missing something here? I jsut dont see why there should be any restrictions othere than someone has to be in it....

MrVulcan, outfits take up space in a database, and if everyone where to create his one man band outfits of 1 member, it would fill up pretty quickly, not to mention use up names that proper outfits with members may want.

So in short, no you cant have outfits of just 1 person - I expect that as well as needing X number of peeps to create one, you'll need to keep X number of people in the outfit or it will be removed, like on other MMOs. They do periodic clean ups.

I think you should be abel to create an outfit with only needing 1 person. And a filiter sweeps the game every month and deletes outfits with 9 memebers or less.

Something like that: I got this idea from what EverQuest did.

Haha... this is cute. I don't think a dev has ever answered this question. No one knows how outfits are created in game, nor do we know how many people will be required to create one.

If someone wants to correct me in this, please post a link to a dev comment. I would love to be wrong, since I'm curious as to the answer myself.

10 - 15 seems good to me. which i think would meet the minimum requirements for command structure. having enough players to specialize in everything available.

Plus is the perfect size for a Galaxy. and should be able to inflict some damage on others.

To me if your alone, your a Merc. not that there is anything wrong with that, actually beleive that the Devs should have something set up in the game to allow Outfits to hire independent mercs for operations.

p.S. if your in an outfit called "Masters of Vanu" the use is purely coincidental, its just a name i made up for example.
