Planetside Beta Download

I see you can download the Beta version of Black Hawk Down and i was just wondering if you can download the Planetside Beta anywhere. I cant wait to play it.

Nope PS being a MMO game means a downloable beta or demo will be huge. Only the few 50 peeps from super duper top secret beta download it.

open beta will be 10,000 some odd people. but for right now, they are limiting it.

I believe most people will need to recieve the beta CDs to play. I think it is only the very first people that will get to Download it.

Only sony makes you buy the beta...its dumb...TSO, Neocron, E&B and many other games I beta'd didn't make you buy the cd unless you wanted to, though they were 1 gig files, you could still save 15 bucks...i dont tell which sony game a beta'd/betaing to say this but trust me.. -- AND ITS NOT PS...unfortunatly...-

Where will the announcemtn for the open beta be announced. I MUST MAKE THE OPEN BETA! If not ill have the wait for the release... damn i dont think i can make it that long.

I don't believe they are making people pay for the closed beta CDs. I think somebody just took something out of context or misunderstood someone and started a nasty rumor. I have not heard anything of this sort, and it obviously wouldn't make sense to this, so I doubt they are actually charging you for beta testing.

Only the first few people can download it. Can you imagine the server strain for 10,000 people downloading 1GB of files?
