Good luck.

that is a good idea, even if your 16 its the right and mature thing to do, they sound like those strong religious type parents who will not let their daughters touch a man until like....ever...lol

anyway yeah, what Peace said...

16 isn't too young to start dating.

Hell, 16 is the legal age for sex in England.

14 is the age of consent in Canada
Of course, it's not set in stone as the judge can use his judgement to decide if the person was prepared and knew what they were doing

I started dating when I was 13 (not serious though), I think her parents need to realizes if she's old enough to make the decision to have sex, then she is old enough to hold a boys hand . But then again there will always be problems .. My parents dident want me to Marry Hamma. But i sat down listen to there opinion. Then I told them " I do value your opinions, I do respect you but I love him and Im going to marry him" (mind you they still dident approve and tried to talk both of us out of it even on our wedding day) But at least they knew where I stood. You gotta think about it like that cept for the married part. It's really not your job to get thought to her parents. But if confronted speak your mind

What parent would not want their child to experience London, especially in an educational sense like your band program is offering? No, this is something that needs handling now, before it gets really messy for everyone involved down the road. (My God, how are they going to handle her going off to college?)

Talk to your parents about the situation and get them to talk to her parents. Her parents are far more likely to listen to adults than some kid they percieve as trying to get into their daughter's pants. (And honestly, although cyberkiller was probably jesting, it may not be extremely wise to be in too close proximity of her dad until he's ready to accept you... so don't try talking to them yourself, without your parents present.)

Hope this helps, Jag.

Listen to this one, for they are wise.

I'm just going to warn you, yes... getting your parents involved might be a good idea, but be prepared for the results. They might be still restrictive or have the lack of privacy for awhile. Even if they do agree to let her see you... there still has to be a time where things are eased in. Be careful and willingly let them have control for awhile. Allowing them to feel that they still have some control over their daughter is key... they will not just surrender her overnight. I guess the point I'm trying to make is to just give it some time... who knows, they might have had a bad experience with one of her siblings or with her before.

They have to trust you man. Show them that they can trust you and they will begin to, hopefully. Just be a gentleman!

I'm sure there's some humor in a sniper rifle and a Nazi flag, but it was lost on me. For the record, Nazi flags don't exactly make humorous subjects for ****.

Just a word of advice.
