It makes me feel terrible to see a game like this go to waste
How much you want to bet, that if someone else bought planetside, took it , updated it, and actually put it new and fun stuff into the game, sony would be like "Ahh lets buy it back" and then it would rot again.

This game has been so wasted I NEED ANSWERS
please....

We need someone else to buy out this game
before its too late

and advertise it

agtfdtt I'm talking about if sony and the devs actually
CARED about the game, in fact a recent post about how
if this games makes less then 300,000 they'll cancel it
and right now its makng 350,000-400,000

What Im say is if they tried, they'd make a whole
shitload of money and this would be the game of the year

on the other hand sony doesnt care and just spits out games,
wrings out the money and spits another out. sighzor...

I think he's trying to say that he doesn't hate it, he just wants it restored to its origanal glory. If so, I'm in the same boat as him.

Sounds to me like he's under the impression that Samhayne will do nothing but ruin Planetside and that SOE's employees hate games and whine whine bitch bitch. PS used to suck a lot more than it does now. It's not perfect, but it's getting better. And before you know it, a new expansion with some good stuff in it this time around will be out, and PS will be new and fresh and yadda yadda.

But in the mean time I wish we would stop getting these "aw man PS used to be so good now it sux wuts up wit dat ??" threads.

The game is dying due to several things.

Sony's bad implementation of new things into the game. But Mostly because of the poor advetising they give PlanetSide. Lookin any gaming magezine,you'll see an add for SWG/EQoA/EQ1/EQ2. However, you will NEVER see one for PlanetSide.

PlanetSide is never going to go back to its "origanal glory", thats what "origanal glory" is original Things change, times change, learn to deal with it... and yes I miss the "origanal glory" that was once PlanetSide.
Learn to adapt and you won't be picking up everyone else's crap.

the best advertising I have seen for PS has been MaxPC has listed it as one of the games they have been playing for like the last bizzilion months
