Rumor?

I heard that this Tuesday all the servers were to merge together due to "lowest population ever" and all characters were to go back to BR1. I have not heard any news about this, just clarifying if it's true or not. I have also heard that if PS population continues to stay low, all the servers will be shut down

No, but despite what they say, thats why they put the "run for gun" monolith event from 30 min. to 60 min.

Believe it.

Population is declining because of dissatisfaction.

There is a termination point for PS, what it is is unknown. The pops don't seem any lower today than they did a year ago.

Just because you see a few people in front of you doesn't mean the pop is still the same.

Last time I logged off, I had to be one of the ones to help the pop-lock. Before, I was fighting to get in.

You can't be serious. That propoganda doesn't work, not here.

What propoganda? I am not a fanboy despite what you no doubt think.

I honestly see little difference from a year ago. Course I also remember when all three empires could pop lock two continents, but that was no doubt before your time.

Where did you get all this reliable information?

I could imagine all 3 servers merging, in actuallity i can't see PS being revived any other way short-term.

But i don't see why they would kick everyone back to BR1, that doesn't make much sense to me.

As for the servers shutting down, i sincerely doubt it, as long as they keep them up and break even with subscriptions they'll stay up.
X-mas should bring a small influx of new players so that should keep us afloat a lil while longer.

the only place i notice anny difference is in the sanc after they lowered the HART timer, but if your fighting on a poplocked cont, as most people do, it's the same ammount of people it's always been.

Though Halo/Halflife/whole bunch of other Xmas time games have rolled around. So thats gona suck people out of PS for a while(like me, and most of BH)

I have been a leader, still am a leader...just not playing a CR5pam atm (I so hope that isn't what you think makes a leader).

Sorry guys, I just heard this during one of the "run for gun" continent captures, and someone mentioned this (I forgot who) and it brought up to almost everyone broadcasting something and spam everywhere. Many people were taking the side that it was going to get shut down, while about the same amount of people said it wouldnt. So I just wanted to find out about it.

Sob's correct. Populations wax and wane by average amounts at any given time in the year. If you're so sure, let's see some numbers instead of flaming.
