Wilder did a good Waco Kid in Blazing Saddles, 'tis true. But don't hate Johnny Depp, he is a good actor, despite the fact he's popular.

In addition to be drooled over by fangrils (who I hate, therefore, I hate him by Proxy), yes, Depp is a good actor. However, I dont agree with casting him in some roles. Simply seems like everyone and their mother casts him for anything

I don't think anyone's suggested him for any Star Trek movie, yet. Though now that I think about it...

By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.

I maintain that Depp's best performances are Pirates and Edward Scissorhands. both amazing. i'm a big fan of Depp because i recognize his acting talent.

EDIT: and, by the way.... the original "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" by Dahl was a bit more dark and quite the sophisticated social commentary that the first film was certainly neither of. Of course, had the first film been closer to the book it would have been too artsy for the audience of the time. It's a bit more simplistic in nature than what most people are capable of contemplating these days. Albeit there are still quite a few retards out there. Regardless, it's about time for a Wonka that's more like Dahl's Wonka. when this movie comes to theaters, i'll be one of the first people singing: "i've got the gooolden tiiiiiiicket"..
