Wow........I leave for 20 min to eat dinner.....and all this O I liked Eine, but r3d was kinda bad....Heavy and me disagreed too much. But anyways.....the only reason I was taking sides with hamma, was because the only thing I noticed going on was Dhark getting IRC permaban....I already knew it would happen when he got in IRC...

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

I'm taking this chance to say goodbye to the community that I have been part of, more or less, for over a year now. r3d pretty much summed up my thoughts towards the moderation of this board, and the censoring of a certain website was pretty much the final straw
I doubt many of you will miss me, but Goodbye PSU!

-BOHICA getting censored was an unknown fluke which has been fixed.

You know, I really like the moderators here. They're great guys (and gal), but sometimes I get the feeling that they're on a powertrip. This isn't saying that they are; as a regular poster, I have no idea what goes on in their secret moderator planning sessions. But I think it's important for them to realize that from the perspective of the typical poster, the moderators are indeed very hamfisted. Even if they aren't, they ought to be aware of that perception. And Trig, I understand why you want to avoid the drama, but please don't ignore it. I don't think people would be making such a big deal over things if they didn't have a reason. The fact that there's all this drama means that, in their view, something is wrong. Yeah, you can just say, "Bye, tons-of-people leaving!" and try to sweep the crisis under the rug. But the crisis is still there, and eventually the moderating staff will have to address it. If people are leaving just because of Dhark, then that would be one thing. But I don't think Exo and Eine left because of Dhark, and that's what really worries me. When mature veterans leave, that's should raise a huge red flag. I hope the staff here at PSU is working on remedying the situation, and let everyone know of it.

Today's events put a smile on my face. PSU is a better place without those..umm..no flaming...well...let's just say I think that I can fabricate a better group of guys then the 3 that left with my own fecal matter.
And as for the whole {BOHICA} URL being censored. About fucking time If you want to ride the fence and post on PSU/BOHICA at the same time, fine. That's awesome. I do it with PSU/GENMAY and other forums. But dont expect us to standby while you shamelessly plug away the site practically begging people to come over and visit. That's not that way you make a succesful fansite I'm in a good mood now. As for moderation, I think the only one powertripping just a tad bit is Triggar. And I can say this because I know she's mature enough not to get her knickers in a bunch. I Triggar, but her whole anti-flaming crusade is starting to rub me the wrong way. *shrug* Last edited by Squeeky; 2004-11-30 at 09:59 PM. |

Oh well.
I work my ass off for PSU, in real life, which is more than I'd say 98% of the others on these boards can say. I spent thousands of dollars for PSU. I have a vested personal interest in the success of this community, so forgive me if I don't want to see this site go to shit from the inside out. I've put too many man hours into this community to see posters destroy it. If you don't like that, well, then you take my job. Go ahead. Be the event coordinator, I'll hand you over my tools. It isn't a walk in the park.
