Last I heard, regional airlines like JetBlue and Southwest were "thriving" - i.e. they weren't losing nearly as much as the national carriers like American or United.

But JetBlue still has to pay for all those jets. Last I knew, they were on a deferred lease from AirBus. So I wouldn't buy stock in JetBlue now, even though I think they're the only airline at the moment that's reporting an actual profit.

Arh! I'm out. Sorry guys. I will be in philly this weekend but I can tell you right now I will not be able to meet up with anyone. I will be tagging along with my friend's parents that I'm visiting, cause my car is crap on wheels.

I'll have to check with the parents... likelihood is that due to the face that rapage among internet users is 50% higher than the general population, I probably won't be able to go. However, Amtrack does provide nice options to stowaways.
