The new patch

Well last night was a good time, a lot of my fellow BFR pilots were on to say goodbye to their colussus. I logged on today expecting to see juggernauts roaming everywhere, and I did, but not as I expected. The patch was suppose to increase teamwork by eliminating the colussus. Well guess what, it did the exact opposite. Now people get a juggernaut and just get twice the ammo for the pilot weapons and dont even use the gunner at all. So the result is a moving turret that takes 20 mins of constant shooting to run out of ammo. This patch was a mistake.

And yes I know the juggernaut is called the colussus now, but I don't care, no one calls it the colussus.

23 of the tr BFR outfit quit planetside, and I know some of them in real life so I know they actually quit. I might still follow them to WoW.

So the fact that the pilot guns are weaker, their armor is the same as the old Colossus (which means they are less durable), and they run a lot slower in transit don't count for anything? Oh snap guys, they have more ammo, this patch was a big mistake, because a lack of ammo is what made BFRs so crappy before, but now that that's gone, they will be the COCK OF THE WALK!

I assure you, this patch did virtually nothing to make using a BFR more desireable (slightly better walk/turn speed for gunner variants, 5 less kills for Adv. BFR merit), and a hell of a lot to make using them less desireable.

All I know is what I have seen on the battlefield, and that is infantry and vehs getting killed by BFRs. I was only logged on for 20 mins and I saw atleast 30 different juggernauts with the loadout I spoke of absolutely murdering everything.

And when I logged on this morning for about an hour, I saw a few gunner variants doing nothing meaningful and getting slaughtered easily. Flight variants are little bitches now with how incredibly fast and agile they are, but they're paper tigers so it's alright. However, as I said, the pilot weaponry is weaker, the transit mode for gunners is slower, their armor is weaker. If you saw 30 murdering everything, you should be happy that this patch was released, as without the nerfs to BFRs the 30 probably would have conquered the entire galaxy.

Either way, I think we both need to play the patch more over the next week or so to see how these changes pan out before we start leaping to conclusions.

If anything, I think they will end up buffing the BFRs, I think they still did too much to nerf them.

If they've done too much, they'll reduce the timer. I don't see them buffing the BFRs at this point.

All they have to do to solve that problem is to make 2 different trunks, one for pilot ammo and one for gunner ammo

And you're complaining that they have too much ammo etc etc etc?
