Patience?

Pfft. I already broke one controller last night. Well, it still works, but it rattles, and the R buttons stick. And the motor on the right side scrapes.

I got it home last night at about 8ish, and I've logged about 11 hours and 900 miles so far.

Blockbuster was probably talking about that's when they get will get it.

From what Matt said it sounds like you can play with a controler.

I might pick this up Friday. It's online too right? Let's hook up matt online after I get it.

Negative they threw out the online play.

There's also the lack of the online mode which was originally announced for GT4 and then removed at the Tokyo Game Show. This omission is both understandable and completely depressing at the same time. Polyphony Digital and especially its producer, Kazunori Yamauchi, are renowned for being perfectionists and if there was no way for the online mode to be stellar, then it wasn't going to be included, plain and simple. With the spotty record of online games currently on the PS2 it would take a concentrated effort to make it sing. Yamauchi knows this and in order to get the game out it had to be cut.

No, Thats not exact. It was to be out months ago, lacking all sorts of LAN play and public outcry brought it back in. Sort of. It has already been confirmed you can play over the net with some xbox like trickery.

I'll have to see about gettin it. I'm low on cash currently, and tax season is starting to loom, but I really loved GT3, even bought a wheel and pedals for it (makes SO much of a difference!) and had a lot of fun in that game.

Yes, its awfully nerdy looking to sit there with a steering wheel in your lap and pedals on the floor but its a million times easier to control and the realism is worth it.

I beleive this is what you want

Anyway, if I can come out with a job today, I should have enough to get GT4 + New PS2 + New TV + snackage + Car seat + steel frame + beer and have a right good time.

Doesn't come out till March 9th (I think) here.
