i dont understand how to get the key maybe im doing something wrong, but what do you mean my filling the form

He means, going to this link and then filling out the form there. That's our new Buddy Key Exchange Feature which is what this thread is about. You'll find there are links for that all over the front page, in the news, headlines, and menu bars as well as the first link posted in this thread.

I'm logged in and cookies are on yet when I click on the link for buddy exchange I get an error message reminding me to log in and turn on cookies

Try and logout completely then close all your browsers. Come back in, login again and then give it a shot.
