This is off topic but, my brother and I were watching something on Vikings. The show was explaining how the Vikings would "breed out" the lands that they concurred. So I was like, "Hey, they're like the Borg, the assimilate the places they concur."

Somewhat. It's really mainly the Xball leagues that have done it. Although I know the CFOA (Carolina's Field Owners Association) went with the 15 ball limit as well. Seeing as my NYPS runs Xball lite, and we allow ramping, we use the 15bps limit, even if someone is shooting semi-auto. Markers have gotten to the point where these companies will start focusing on Efficiency, and Accuracy, etc. over pure speed. I am fine with that, though. I would rather a paintball marker only capable of shooting 15bps, with incredible accuracy over one that has crappy accuracy and shoots 25bps. To me accuracy is more important than how fast your marker shoots (of course there is a minimum bps rate I look at, which is around 13-15). Also, it allows you to send people to the dead box using less paint, thus saving a ton of money. I live right outside New York City, and it is very expensive to play, most of the time. I know that my Cyborg can shoot 30bps, but it's the accuracy and efficiency of the marker that brought me want one, and to be sponsored by them. |

The paintball industry is in a "recession" figuratively speaking. There hasn't been many huge advancements in technology in a while. The last big advancement I'd say was the spool valve which started with the original Matrices. Now we see many other companies using spool valves. The other major advancement I'd say was force feed hoppers. Other than those, what major advancement has there been in the last year or two?

Just stay away from the freak... It is such a bad barrel kit, yet so many people have it... You should try out the HammerHead barrel kit.. I've tested them out before, and they are extremely accurate. http://www.hammerheadpaintball.com/barrels.html |

I***8217;m kind of skeptical about rifled barrels.
I'd like to read more about them cause everything else I read before says it doesn't help.

And XSV just got the living shit beat out of them by Dynasty. I was expecting XSV to win one of their 3 games but dynasty just destroyed them. It wasnt like lang dominated them too. It really stood out in those matches how fast and team oriented Dynasty really is.
