Honestly, that style of facial hair is to accentuate those who have no jawline... but to do so you need to cut it square (you rounded it out too much) otherwise you will only get the pudgy effect making your round face look even rounder.

Also, I'm not sure if you did this on accident, but it seems to be lower then it should be. It should not pass under your chin but rather pass on the jawline in order to give the intended effect. (Wich is giving you a jawline more or less)

donno whats going on in canada but down here in NY this is the way ppl have been wearing it. Under the jaw bone. I cut mine at my jaw bone and bring it up to my chin where I stop it from growing. You let it grow there untill its about 2- 3 inches long under the chin depending on what you want to do with it.
