SmokeJumper made a great post about Voice Comm and how it fits into Planetside in our forums. Here is a quote:

*If* we do voice IP support, it will be peer-to-peer...for sure. In otherwords, it won't affect our servers at all. Each player would be passing voice information directly from his computer to the other computers in the "channel".
