The Adrenaline Vault put up their preview of Planetside this morning. <blockquote>Though a great number of weapons are empire specific, not all of them are. All players begin with the ability to use several standard weapons although points must be spent in order to use a more diverse panoply. The Medium Assault certification opens up slightly more specialized items that while not always clearly better than standard, are more suited towards a specific role and have a number of advantages such as higher levels of zoom or the ability to use alternative munitions, making them the best choice for most players. Heavy and Special Assault both offer a greater anti-vehicular ability to players, while maintaining a good deal of effectiveness against infantry as well, compared to the true Anti-Vehicular certification..</UL>You can find the whole preview here.
