Smokejumper is up to his old tricks again, dropping some various interesting ideas here and there.

Let me spin you a yarn about "Capitol Buildings" and "Continental Domination". (These are both concepts that will see "In Concept" soon.)

These work with Dynamic Global Lattices. The concept is simple: Each continent has a particular facility that is the Capitol. Capture that building, and you have "Domination" over that continent. (Dominion gives the benefits of a Lock.)

How hard is it to take a Capitol? Hard. You have to take 3 out of 4 other "sub-capitol" buildings in order to drop a powerful force dome around the Capitol, allowing you to attack the Capitol. Until then, it's completely invulnerable.

Now...get Empire bonuses depending on the number of continents your Empire is currently Dominating (those continents you own the Capitol) on...and allow drop podding on any continent, regardless of which Empire has "Dominion".
