Post Playtest Conduct

A warning has been issued by Bishop from the QA Department on the official forums regarding conduct during a playtest.
This is a reminder to everyone who participates in the playtests that your behavior on the Public Test Server can affect your account status on the Live servers.

This is obviously in response to the number of inappropriate Orbital Strikes during the XP fountain / Cease Fire, and ruining the XP for those that legitimately participated and constructively helped in the playtests. The majority of the players during these events are here to help the QA and Dev teams root out any major bugs / showstoppers, as well as have fun.

Previously, we took care of these individuals by setting their Grief to insanely high levels and kicking them from the server. This prevented them from coming back for a few days. However, we soon found out that the same individuals were back on server a few days later in the next playtest to once again launch an inappropriate Orbital Strike during the Cease Fire / XP Fountain.

Rather than penalize the Test Server player base as a whole with a character wipe we are going to address the specific players on an individual basis with official Warnings, Suspensions, and possible Banning your Live character and account.

These will be officially issued by the CS department at our request when individuals deliberately and severely interfere with the playtest scenario and/or ignore the QA Cease Fire pop up.

The goals of a playtest are to test new features, find / report bugs, fight along side and against the QA and Dev teams, but most importantly to provide a brief intense combat situation so we can all have fun.

Thanks for everyones help in this matter,
Bishop
