Its called code named planetside Next, and its coming out in the next 6 months so the internet says, but why do you think theres no pictures, videos or any info about the gameplay at all?
Maybe they have not even started making NEXT yet? Maybe Its been maded and there going to JUMP in on to us soon? Maybe there getting all the info from forums and trying to get the game right befor they share any info? Maybe its not even planetside!?!? What do you think? |

Well I would think it's still PlanetSide and I'm sure they have been working on it for a while.
However it is a bit odd that we have heard almost nothing about it. Hopefully with DCUO released that will clear the plate for some PlanetSide PR. |

I'm pretty sure (though not certain) that unless you've got a staff of millions, it's next to impossible to crank out an MMO in less than five months.
You overlook one fact - SOE's marketing hardly ever put out any promotional material at all. The only reason I even knew about the first Planetside was because of a magazine ad that came out a month or two before beta. Generally speaking, one does not announce that they are making an MMO until they have a decent amount of work done, unless they deliberately do it before they even start pre-production. It's along the same line of thought as women who do not announce pregnancy until after the first trimester is done - that's the touch-and-go period, usually. |

I think it's because they've ripped the same failed game to a tee but unbended it.. and are hoping the original planetside players will support it, and advertise for them as we know they won't. IMO. I hope i'm wrong.

Pro-tip #1: GO BACK TO AURAXIS.
Pro-tip #2: Stay the fuck away from Bending, Core Combat crap caverns, BFRs And if you DO decide to put BFRs in the game, take a hint: Keep them out of the bases. Make it despawn if it comes within ten yards of a base's outer walls, same with towers. I don't care if you give it jump jets - keep the fucking thing OUT of bases. And for fuck's sake... Pro-tip #3: Make the Lasher lash friendlies. |
