Butt Stroking

I want butt stroking!

I would also like to be able to hit people with the butt of my weapon when in close range. I suppose a quick knife would also work.

A quick melee with any weapon is something I'm hoping never makes it in the game. So many console FPSs are ruined with it. If you want a one hit melee kill, it should be a separate weapon, like a chainsaw

It doesn't have to be a one-hit weapon like in Goldeneye. A butt-stroke with a rifle butt isn't necessarily a killing blow against a healthy, armoured human being. It just really friggin' hurts, can incapacitate, stun, knock-down or knock-back, etc.

Dude didn't you see the video? It's not a one shot kill the guy took 6 to the face and didn't fall over.

Yeah but in lots of games melee is a one shot. It's especially dumb when it takes a dozen bullets otherwise.

Anyway I don't there being some form of melee from the butt of your gun in PS next, however I think it would would be best if it simply pushed the enemy back like a stun rather then something damaging.
