GU Comics
Seems GU Comics owner and artist Woody wasn't exactly impressed by the trailer, though he looks forward to playing PS 2. http://www.guforums.com/showthread.php?t=15564 Last edited by Electrofreak; 2011-07-09 at 10:16 AM. |

PlanetSide has always been about coordinated team actions in squads, platoons and outfits , and also massive vehicles fights. They showed the latter in the final bit of the trailer... but well.... it is more of a teaser than a trailer. |

If you listen to the Q&A at gametrailers, it sounds like it was supposed to be a teaser rather than a trailer. I think it was T-ray who said we'd look back at it and wonder why they bothered releasing it or something. There's more trailerish trailers to come.
Obviously they couldn't show the scale of the game too well with the limited amount of people who have access to the game at the moment... |

This. On top of that, making a video like this is quite some work. YOu first write a script, and then make it happen. Just take a look at the end, when the mossy flies right ino the camera. I can tell you that getting this right took more than just a few attempts, im pretty sure that they had to do that at least 10 times to be happy with it. It is, as said, just a teaser, more like a moving screenshot to show us a bit about the game. Yet i still shat my pants. |
