Note the panels on the tower. I wonder if they are gun ports or exits?
Also, in the picture of the guys standing on the ledge, is the guy furthest from the camera viewpoint jetting out? He looks amazingly similar to a Tribes person using an E-pack. The flash suppressors on the TR soldiers' rifles indicate projectile weapons...yes, no? Also, again note the different helmet styles. Great stuff!

In the second picture, backround character to the right. What weapon is he holding?
Also, like I talked about in my concept thread here: http://www.planetside-universe.com/f...ad.php?t=36609 That warpgate in the first picture appears to be inactive as well. Unless the art simply isn't done but I've seen this other places like mentioned in the above thread. |

I believe jetpacks as a mean of vertical transportation (more like "hay, ima hop on top of that tower", not like "ima fly from one base to another") were sorta confirmed, but so that you would not be able to have heavy armor or weapons to go with it, for example.
As for projectile weapons, isnt that what most weapons (at least for NC and TR) have been in PS too? Perhaps the warp gate isnt inactive (we've seen concept art and now some screenies where they are all "inactive") but they simply removed the bubble around it?
