I agree with the others, truck nuts would be nice but it needs a RAM on the front, you know for ramming things!
It does just scream bad ass tho nice job

I have an extremely fond memory of loading up a Levi with a full crew and 2 starfires and kicking the crap out of MBTs, reavers, and anything else we ran into while harassing the back lines of a NC TR fight. I really hope to be able to do similar things with this one but I'm not seeing hard points for weapons just the slits on the back of the bus. I know there was some talk about allowing people to fire out of the Sundy with their own weapons but I don't know if that was idle chatter or something that would actually happen. I really hope it's something that actually happens as I'd love to roll around with a trunk full of lancer users, maybe even have mines be deployable by engies while we roll along. I know in BF2 I used to drop land mines from helicopters.
Maxs shouldn't be able to fire without getting out.

A half-tracked giant '66 Parisienne with 40mm gun would be cool to have as NC. Armor plate with slits for windows. 40mm sticking through a vertical slot in the front wind "shield".
I'd cert that for sure. Especially with a gigantic sound system. Again, whether anyone else could hear my sound track wouldn't matter. They would hear the clank-clank-clank-squeak-squeak-squeak and VROOOM and 3/4 race cam idle. I just don't know how thrilled anyone else would be to see that in the game. Sure fits the "put together from whatever" urban-warfare theme. I don't know about how many 1966 Parisiennes would be around then, but who knows, could be a new retro movement.

Vehicle animation is nice, but after the first tree times, I think it just slows the game play.
I don't know how they looked in PS, but in Red Orchestra 2, there is an animation when you switch places inside the tank, ans it's just annoying to wait for it to end. |

If that is the case, it would make sense that you could spawn on the move, so long as there was the ability to exit the sunderer while it's driving. That would also be pretty awesome if you could spawn into the sunderer while it was driving, but not be forced to exit if you didn't want to and there was still room in the sunderer. Just spawn into it, pull out your gun and go. Makes me wonder. If you can spawn into a sunderer and you can pick your loadout when you spawn in and if you can fire your infantry weapons from inside the sunderer, will we be able to swap out to whichever weapons we need at any time? Like if I'm shooting some AI HA weapons and then see an enemy vehicle or MAX, can I just reequip myself instantly right there in the sunderer and switch to AV HA? |
