I love people who can tell the difference with 60-100fps when their monitor runs on 60Hz

Exactly Meshuggah - only most GFX cards and monitors these days can cope with different refresh rates, 75Hz for example.

Its just the old my dicks bigger than your dick arguement, or the my dads better than your dad.

Who gives a flying (*^*&^&*^*^!! As long as u can play the game.

Turn that damn meter off cos it gives people a complex. The game plays fine when it aint there! They just wana be 1337 :E

Hate to tell you this but yes i can. And for every study saying you cant notice above 60, there is one saying you can. Example when im getting shot at my the plasma you can feel the mouse lag just a little bit, as opposed to when im getting 125(caped).

If my system is getting under 45 fps most of the time, then i wont be playing this game. Could care less about all the cool featues if its a jerky mess.

At no point was I refering to you.

I was refering the true fact is that most players whining about fps below 100 being unplayable/bad running on Win 2k or XP, and have not tweaked or use the help of other aplications to rise their monitors Hz in OpenGL/D3D above their limits 60/75Hz.
Usually its just a good excuse in FPS games to why you get killed so much (...by people who run on min specs at 25fps )

60 fps in any game is totaly sufficient, not that getting more is allways a good thing. But the key is to BLOCK it at the point where it doesn't hop like a bunny on drugs around the room, but keeps it steady.
