At the end though, we're looking for something that's made its way into the public conscious and has become reviled. Elmos, Smurfs, and Barnies each carry a stigma that doesn't need a guy with a barrel in the opposite trench to make it loathsome. Going to be very hard to find something that will be as commonly accepted as those there. Bad foods might work eg: Eggplants, cod, and stepchildren.

Cod is amazing! Eggplant is good but people don't know how to prep it, as for the stepchildren... well yeah they pretty much suck as food

(Im quite glad no one has thought about calling the VS brainsuckers. With all that story redesign and vanu is psychedelic alien that makes people hear voices, people could have gotten the wrong idea about our peaceful intentions.)

To be honest I picked them based on color. Eggplant can be purple, cod comes from the sea (blue), and Red headed stepchildren because I couldn't thinking of anything else.

As for if I'm on crack, I've been off medication for years.
