Well, earlier today I sent out a mass email to lapsed outcasters (700+). Hoping a lots sign up and return, it would be good to talk / see the old troopers again.

I spent twenty minutes with tech support haggling and digging up old game account info so I could resurrect my original Sony Station ID (which I had completely forgotten) so I could sign up for the beta with an ID that proves I played PS1 for three-four years.

Yeah I know the feeling. Have Sony hacked not once, but twice this year didn't leave me ringing with confidence when I lost access to my Station account... works fine again now.

Anyone else noticed Planetside 2 has gone up like 1000 likes in 24 hours on facebook? Lets hope that lasts for a while

Well, look like current PS1 subscribers might get priority to beta according to a SOE dev on the SOE forums:
