I was so naive with SWTOR. Should have known better with EA at the helm.

I was hoping that there'd be...SOMETHING that they would do to separate it from other MMOs.

But no, it's just another pawn in EA's success chasing. EA thinks that if they can copy something, they will get their success. They're wrong(look at Origin.) And no where is it more blatant than in SWTOR. EA wanted their own WoW so badly that they basically turned it into WoW. Not a single effort was made on the gameplay or even structural end to deviate. Not one.

So sad, and so disappointed.

Out of all the MMO's I've played leveling was quite enjoyable because of the story. Problem is once you reach end game my story just seemed to end with no real ending... killed some Darth guy i just met and knew nothing about... he was the stories end boss.

End game theres nothing to do. Crafting is pointless apart from Biochem or cybertech for grenades. Epics are handed out like candy, PVP is fun I do like destroying people as my Vanguard...but theres no world pvp and Ilums a joke.

Faction imbalance is the worst. My server had a 6 to 1 imbalance for the Sith and apparently the republic on my server was actually a good pop... this happened mostly because of the biased marketing towards the Sith, better classes, better storylines, better looking armour, better starting worlds and instant attacks (whereas the Republic have to wait 0.5 - 2 seconds for the damage to hit on the same abilities)

So yea un-subbed before the first monthly payment.

Now waiting for PS2 to disappoint me.

Well... fellow Vanu many be a little disappointed in me, when I spend hours swooping over the terrain, doing barrel rolls and giggling rather than, say... shooting at folks on some battle front.

Atmospheric flight in Star Wars Galaxies was so amazingly fun that I literally spent hours flying around Theed (and player cities) without even noticing the time go by. The space flight was fun too, but sense of speed when flying over the land, through canyons, and around buildings is so much more satisfying.

I look forward to flying in PS2.

So bored of it. Go to Illum/Belsavos do dailies. Stand in republic base to get the 30 daily kills on Illum. I loved the Trooper and JK stories (both 50 before new year ). Full columi gear on commando and full champion/columi on sentinel. Got high lvl IA and Sage. I'm just dead bored of it - it's same shitty end game, don't get me wrong I loved the stories but after that it's meh... Crafting sucks, pvp causes me to rage (stupidity of teammates is unbelievable), pve is same as every other MMO (do raids get gear....).

Class depth - after so many characters I can see it's same abilities just different looks mostly. Skill trees - lol, no choice.

Great SP game, bad MMO (at this age, 6 years ago it would have been king).

I really loved the story and getting my Character to 50. Now that I am there I am done.. it becomes the same as all the other MMO's once you get there. You either grind PVP or end game content to get new toys and that just doesn't interest me anymore.

And the PVP is totally based on Stuns, Knockbacks, Knockdowns and has no skill involved just like all other MMORPG based PVP I've played :\

Yeah. I simply can't ever get over how little innovation there was outside of the story/voice acting. Other than those two things the game feels over half a decade old.

I'm still loving it, Pax Gaming has taken over Sanctum of the Exhalted server and punishing all those foolish Jedi and their pathetic allies, taking my time leveling and just enjoying the heck out of it with my posse

Terrible, awful game. This thing cost them ~200 million to make, you know. Hopefully when it bombs people will stop making these stupid games.
