I'm working on two youtube videos right now. One for talking about Planetside 1 and another for Planetside 2.

I don't like not going all the way and I lack good BGM files. So I was wondering if anyone could help me locate, acquire, and use some BGM from or similar to Planetside for my videos.

I am using Windows Movie Maker and my pictures are result of googe search. (donated screenshots would be nice and I'll give you a tiny shout out in credits and/or on the screen itself.

Go to YouTube and start randomly selecting music from any action-oriented anime series. Really. You'll find something eventually that clicks for you.

Anything from Two Steps from Hell and you're golden. My personal favorite is Heart of Courage. You may also want to search for "production music" It's basically orchestral/choral music that's made specifically for movie and video game trailers. Unfortunately, most albums are not publicly released, but there are ways around that

Kevin Mcleod has a bunch of royalty-free music at incompetech. I've seen a fair amount of people using his work.

Its easy to get ALL of the planetside music for you to use for your videos. Simply go into your Program Files and find Planetside! Inside of planetsides folder is a Music/Sound folder with ALL of the games music inside it and a huge sound file with every emote and sound effect in the game.

There you go. All of Planetsides music and themes. I took them and put them on my MP3 player, and at one point used the VS Victory theme for my Shutdown and the main themes opening as my Startup sound XD.

(This is assuming you have Planetside already, if not, its easy enough to download if you find the Reserves downloader.)

BUT!!!!!

It seems I can't put two tracks on my video in Windows Movie Maker. It either plays my voice or the music.
