I had been leaning back to NCside but this has thrown me back out again. Really want to see what the higher level armours look like. (colours and such)

I would like to see that too, but looks wouldn't effect what empire I choose. That's how VS got all the nooblets.

No really, I am thankful that they are showing these and I respect that this is someones hard work, but my real suspicion (and hope) is this weeks theme has just been filler until GDC.

I think they look great. Remember they said you could customize your colors and probably gear to. So I wouldn't worry about it to much. You might be able to opt for a full face helmet.

Overall IMO the best look. Well VS sorta looks coolest, but I'm not into the colour or the too scifi'ish design.

But I'm at the same time torn between liking it and not liking it. The design overall pleases my eye the most, but it's still so worn out. Having that + a bit further "high level armor" in a less worn out (and no, not assembly line-look, just a look that doesnt yell "hell and back") quality would be perfect.
