FPSGURU: Silly Question, PlanetSide is the war over the side of a planet. Will the war ever be taken inside the planet?

You never know! But, if that’s something that our players want us to explore, we’ll find a way to make it happen. One of the most exciting things we’re doing with PlanetSide 2 is allowing players to really help us determine the course that we’re taking with the game. Already we’ve started this process by being heavily involved in the player community while the game is in development, on Twitter, Facebook and on boards, we’re trying to connect with our community and find out what they want to see out of the game, and prioritizing those features where we can. I anxiously await the day they can "reimagine" core combat with planetside 2 and a REAL big player base. I can expect Planetside 2 to be leaps and bounds above the original in every way. They are not gonna bullshit us, they are gonna sell us straight. We got a winner here.

FPSGURU: Times have changed and MMOFPS games aren't as rare as they were when the first PlanetSide came out. What have you done to stand out against the other new entries?

sorry, but the guy who asked this question just needs to take an arrow to the knee!
what other mmofps games is he talking about? have i missed something? i looked hard to find alternatives to ps for 10 years and until today i never heard of ANY other mmofps but planetside,worldwar2 online and maybe M.A.G. (because it has more than 32 players but it´s not persistant, is it?)

The interviewer is probably thinking any game that says it's a MMOFPS is Massive Multiplayer.

hey dust is massive it has 32 players in a instance.... firefall is similar leaning towards esports
