OK, I will take it that you are serious. As in PS it appears when you leave vehicles in PS2 that the turrets resume their unmanned status and face forward or rearward as the case may be when you exit the vehicle.
Nah, the video main map clearly shows new wall positions compared to the screen shot. While the mini-map still shows the old wall position I am pretty sure that is just a bug and will be corrected.

Presumably this is just because this was alpha footage and they intend to do it like every single game for years has done it, remembering the previous direction faced. |

Most likely the no walls thing is for "variety". Not sure i like that but if the rest of the base is designed with that in mind then it could work. But just randomly removing or leaving walls on bases with the same layout regardless of wall presence, is a bad idea.
Im curious to what is goin on, could be cool tho if done right, or bad if not. Cant make any judgement tho til we know whats up.

Do notice that only Light Assault gets the jumpjets. That leaves out medic, engineer, heavy assault, infiltrator and max

didn´t matt say that the layout of the base was altered for the demo?
in some thread about disappointing base layout. so maybe he was not only referring to all the little obstacles scattered around, but also to walls removed for faster baseaccess during the demo. if he had to walk around a basewall every time he got killed, the demo would have taken 2 hours, or he wouldn´t have showed us so much during the 1 hour. the purpose of this demo was not to show us players what everything will look like in the final game, it was all about showing the other gamedevelopers what´s possible today. and to show this off, you throw as much stuff on one place on the map as possible, and delete obstacles that would hinder you showing what you want to show. did anyone else notice, that matt and t-ray have been kind of quiet the last days? everytime they were that quiet before, something big was going to happen.

Look at the deployment location names. "GDC NC Galaxy" and "GDC NC Tanks"
The whole conflict and the parameters surrounding it were set up specifically for GDC.
