Running People over

I hope the hell not. There are already too many llama's in T2 that just ram/run people over which is increadably lame.

I remeber a dev saying that you could run somebody over in a basilisk, but it would damage the basilisk. Tho I somehow can't see a tank or even a buggy being so much as scratched by running over someone, so the basilisk may be the only one.

I couldnt agree with you more, this isnt tribes, there are no Jetpacks that let you move out of the way of a tank lamer.

Running someone over in a Buggy should do some real damage to it. Anything higher than agil armor (reinforced/MAX) should cause 50% or higher damage to a buggy.

Tanks. maybe only Maxes would damage them.

what happends when U kill someone? HE dies, do U get beps for killing him? NO? thats weird since u seem to get beps for killing peps.
So if u dont want to get beps, RUN OVER PEOPLE! if u want to get beps, do anything to miss the person in ur way, or u wont get any beps, so if u want to get beps, GET OUT OF UR CAR AND KILL HIM with ur weapons!

Where did this "no BEP" idea come from? You kill them, you get BEP.

And I LOVE flattening people in my beowulf in T2. FEAR THE FENDER.

The problem with running people over in buggies is the exposed cockpit. If they decide to take the hit, they'll probably be able to put a couple rounds directly into the pilot before they're hit.

MBTs probably wont be fast enough to make good ramming vehicles.

That leaves the Lightening. Oh the fender-spankin fun I'm going to have in a Lightening.

I'm guessing smacking a MAX is going to suck in anything lighter than the Lightening, particularly with the whole "open cockpit" thing going on. Trying to run down an anit-infantry MAX in a buggy might just be a quick way to get killed.

The Deliverer APC might be fast enough to make a decent ramming vehicle, but I doubt the Sunderer will.


But all these vehicles are armed. There's a fair chance that you'll be dead before the fender and your buttocks are ever formally introduced. In the beowulf, it was often difficult to find a gunner, at least a GOOD one. That won't be an issue with the Lightening.

Running people over has some very useful tactics. If you wanna take down a whole squad, drive right through them

Now, this raises another issue, can you 'graze' people with flying vehicles?

People still don't seem to understand that running people over is about as lame as it gets. Once in awhile yes that fine but you get a load of people with nothing better to do then only try to run others over.

It's lame and you only ruin the game for others by acting like a total newb.
