what is with all the weird shoulder pads on all these armors?

its like the damn costume designer for the "Sex in the City" movies is now working for SOE.

there is also too much of the undercarriage exposed, you have some sort of conduit/tubing running down the outside of the arm where is would be the first thing hit,it looks half done, it needs external armor covering all the weak spots.

But where is the TR MAX they were supposedly using as placeholders for NC/VS MAXes? Seems kind of weird to release renders of unfinished MAXes before even a glimpse of a supposedly finished one.

Saw this a bit ago while digging through the media pages and I gotta say, I love both of em. All the MAX's are really unique in appearance and portray their faction well. A smooth, sleek juggernaught for the TR, and a ramshackle hotrod of an exo-skeleton for the NC.

Oh and a purple fairy thing for vanu. Whatever :P

Remember, that is very early concept art. Just about nothing has stayed the same from those times except the game titles lol.

But I do think that except for the head part, that looks good and suitable for TR.

I didn't like the concept art, so this is not much better. I especially dislike the plates on the shoulders and the ones between the top of the legs. Looks like something the A-Team would throw together ... I hope customisation will make it look acceptable for my eyes.

It's growing on me. I like the rexo, max and inf nc models, and in most other scenarios I prefer damaged/dark to shiny super troopers.

Just taking time to join the old/new NC in my mind. They've changed more in style than the other factions it seems.
