ps2 ... dunno, millions for sure. They have 90 people working on it, they have been working on it now for several years, although not all those people for the full period. Safe to say, ps2 is very important for SoE. - And I think from that fact you can understand why some game design decision have gone the way they did. |

According to the consensus on these forums PlanetSide 2 is extremely cheap to make. Because "the mob" has determined this is how SOE is making the game:
Take PlanetSide 1, delete all the best parts, like vehicle animations, and then simply import the majority of the BF3 code. This analysis could be wrong, tho. |

Not sure about Planetside 2.
But assuming this is close http://users.telenet.be/mmodata/Charts/Subs-3.png There was about 50-60K users for the first couple years. So at 15 dollars a month that's almost a 750K-900K profit per month. So if we say 750K-900K for 24 months thats a lot of cheese Edit: plus that doesn't include the box sales.
