It has been a while since I played PS1 - did you get grief from damaging your own kit (say shooting it, or in this case, blowing it up)?

Anything that is in your ownership like a vehicle, aircraft, or spitfire will not give you grief if you damage it.

Could you blow up vehicle request terminals, etc? If so, what was their respawn time? Was it possible to affect the war by sending saboteurs to places? I'm guessing that with the ability to send vehicles from sanctuaries through warpgates, probably not THAT effective to sabotage on continents, right?

And what about warpgate camping? Mining them, especially, was it effective to keep attacking forces disrupted?

You can blow up a vterm easily. Only takes a second to get it up and going again with a rep kit, so its not a major game changer.

Camping WG was only effective with a bunch of CE and only a few stragglers coming through. If a full blown raid with a couple platoons came in it won't be held back.
