As a planetside fan, a mac user and a steam user this is pretty good news for me.
Planetside 2 is maybe going on steam Apple and steam might be joining teams to bring PC games to the Mac. http://www.techdigest.tv/2012/04/apple_and_valve.html News for mac users not a troll Many thanks, Last edited by Magpie; 2012-04-17 at 09:47 AM. |

I don't have any apple products, but I use stream extensively. I'm a big fan of pretty much all of Valves games.
Obviously PS2 being on stream will be great no matter what, but I think it will be awesome if it can be played on apple as well. Play along, maybe it will make it harder to notice. Increasing the number of potential people who can give a F2P game a try can do nothing but help Planetside 2. |

Every single time it was typed. It just multiplied the funniness
Just a bit of an amusement. Damn you auto correct dot com. As for steam, I love it, but I don't want it to be mandatory for playing PS2 and I doubt it would be. Just would be a good option and great advertisement for the game. This brings up the question of controller support obviously, since presumably a Steam console would have both keyboard+mouse as well as a bundled controller. I'd hope PS2 had controller support done in such a way that it was technically playable, but didn't take away anything from the keyboard and mouse capabilities and didn't offer anything like aim assist. Something along the lines of what CS:GO is going to have. |
