Actually even after you delete something it can be recovered, and also your index.dat file has info on all sites you have visited, deleting temp and cookies does not do jack really. Get a file shreader program, will perm delete files. Also dont screw with the index.dat unless you know what your doing, dont think you can access it mosta the time anywho.

You'd have to boot into DOS to delete index.dat. Windows won't let you.
