why does it need two of every button? especially the on/off button! is to commodate lefties? are we looking at it through a mirror? or are they trying to spark discussion? or are they trying to confuse and troll us to insanity?

Perhaps there are two power buttons because you can either create a single object or combine two. Turn on the right or left one and select a boomer. Turn on both and select a boomer and an EMP mine, and you get an EMP boomer. Want to cancel your combo? Turn off either the right or the left one.

I think it's a great little easter egg.

The fucks I give about teeny graphic details are countable on a worm's fingers.

I like the use of the Playstation symbols. They're iconic.

Two power, or "activation" buttons may be needed to be pressed simultaneously as to prevent accidental activation.

Once activated, a holographic image of what you are selecting appears above it.

it used to be used to deply:

mines
a remote C4 like explosive(aka: boomer)
motion sensors
spitfire turrets

now im sure spitfire turrets are out, boomers are still in, but they may not be on the ACE anymore. Mines are still in and presumably will be deployed from the ACE.

it could also deploy the engineer manned turrets, however in PS1 deployable turrets used an advanced ACE? ...i dunno...but it was bigger than the normal ace. but it could still be on the ACE in PS2.

I like the playstation buttons, it's funny and it's a good bit of subtle branding. In reality, you're not gonna be examining it in that much detail when the bullets are flying...

It looks good but the playstation buttons need to go. They make it look tacky.
