You guys do know how the founding fathers of Canada picked the name right? They pulled letters out of a scrabble bag, and read them out loud, and they were recorded by a secretary
C eh, N eh, D eh

We accept you appology over beating us in Hockey and I feel it is my duty to appologise for the US beating you in every other sport known to man. (Except for curling. You Canadians make much better sweepers then the people in the US)

Canadian beer blows (i don't know where Canadians got the idea that their beer was good). I'll take just about any American micro over a Canadian Import.

Dio:

Here's my potshot attempt at French. Let me know if it is any good. I haven't taken French in years.

Le Franais est une langue trs belle seulement si on sait la prononcer correctement. Est alors est non seulement visuellement beau; mais satisfaisant aux oreilles.

Blah.

I'm more versed in Latin and German. Both are needed for higher level degrees in philosophy.

With time; I could get better.

But I'm not motivated enough.

Figures.

Meh, other than english you don't need any language. I like french a lot though cause it's a very poetic/romantic language. I took a Japanese course and would like to take more, i'd like to learn it(anime/video game fan ).

In today's world; yes, all you need is English. For academic purposes [like my doctorate] I need German, Latin.

Crazy I know.

I can read any major work in English even if it was published 300 years ago in German.

Some feel that the original language give the most precise expression of thought of the author.

Such things cannot be transposed by a translator.

I take it they are right.

Plus you never know if the translator wasn't reading enough into certain things. And Arshune? 2 Ps in apprendre

Why do we learn French? Easier to communicate with our slaves when we take it over! Fetch my shoes, Jacques!
