Demos are kool

I cant wait for PS to come out and i was thinkin, wouldn't it be kool if SOE made a free playable demo like on Tribes 2, where u play against other people who have the demo. it obviusly wouldn't have all the features of the full version, but would still have all the awsomeness. that would be the koolest.

Wouldn't work. PS is a true MMOG so it'd be expensive to hve a demo server of any size.

wait now if you think of it there was a demo for a MMORPG of E&B had a demo and jumpgate was onlineMM game too had a demo there one more forgot what is was EQ or OU. oop it was WW 2 online had a demo so you naver know there a 50% there going to make one of the VR training thing or a room that go up to say 50 or 100 people to play on time will tell.

I bet they will have a "1 month free trail" type of thing. This probably wouldn't happen for several months after release.

There's also gonna be an offline training part, so they could make just that downloadable. We could play by ourselves all we wanted - though it wouldn't be much fun after we've tried out everything

A lot of MMOGs have demos now, but they're usually an entire DLable client with a short (3 to 7 days) free subscription.
