A random idea came to me while I was watching the recent PSU interview with Jon Weathers. What if when you complete a mission, a big "Mission Complete", or "Success" comes up on your screen (this could be toggled off for those who don't want their vision obstructed). I feel like this will help those players who need that thrill of 'Victory' in games to be satisfied. One of the concerns I've seen from inside, and mostly outside the Planetside community is the lack of "winning" the game. I thought maybe this would help get that 'win' feeling into a persistent game.

When I played PS I felt the winning feeling when we were killing off a enemy tank group or winning a bridge battle. If you need a little message saying you won to have that feeling, well I don't know what to say to that.

Also, to Goku, I'm right there with you. I don't need the win feeling to have fun. This is just a suggestion to help the people who DO want that to feel more at home with Planetside 2. Last edited by Furber; 2012-05-29 at 04:21 PM. |
