That Higby + TB live stream video made me think the exact same thing. That MAX is NC's pride and joy far as I'm concerned.

How do you think a ragtag group would look, if anything the PS1 NC max didn't fit the faction. Layered plates is totally what they would do to create protection if they have limited military resources.

Wow now that I think about it... Scale up the NC max 100x, allow for not only weapon modular attachments, but also jetpacks and other goodies, and BOOM the long awaited armored core sequel we've all been waiting for. None of that kinect bs coming out.

I gotta say, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the MAX for NC. I still think the helmet just looks a bit off with the body, they took away the rollover cage from the concept art. It looks a bit like a football helmet at the moment.

I'd love to see some alternate helmets appear for it personally.
