PS1 Veterans - What would you like as a reward?

I just want a "1" on my shoulder, back, or back of helmet. That'd be pretty neat.

I don't think they would want to isolate people too much just because they didn't happen to get a chance to play the first game. So anything that makes people constantly get on chat and ask how someone got something and then have the same response of should have played ps1! Might make people a bit bitter.

PS1 Vets should get classic reskined armor patterns on the new PS2 armor. Honestly i would like the BR14+ empire color patterns matched for the new armor in PS2. I remember when you ran across someone with full color either it be red TR or the gold NC or the teal VS you knew you were going up against someone who had seen their fair share of battles and they were no rookie. Make these recolors only available to the vets and it would be more than enough for me, i would wear them proudly.

Command Rank guards and backpacks would be EPIC!!!!!! that was really our only way of cosmetically standing out in PS1 they should totally be brought back for Vets in PS2.

I haven't thought about it in a long time, but I'm still keen on a unique armor skin. One that looks old, and beat up.

Edit: Then again, you might not want to stand out in a crowd. Maybe just a shoulder patch.

Honestly I'd be satisfied with having the exact same infantry skin as in PS1, low texture resolution, bland colors, and all. It'll stand out in the opposite way of some flashy things people are talking about here.

I want that ps1 vets get the game they want. They want planetside 2 and not somekind of bf/cod clone..

No reward needed, beyond a game I can relate to and flexibility vs specialism is balanced on long term, rather than life by life. No need for special weapons or what not. Anything more than an account badge that says something like "I was at Naum, man" is too much. But some appreciation for any game's long term subscribers by giving them some extra free time every once in a while to reward subscription loyalty would be good.

I hope they never hand out free certs, weapons or special items again that free up certs For more heavy equipment...
