Should the mosquito be renamed?

Since the mosquito is now a fighter instead of a scout aircraft, I think it deserves a better name. Lets compare the images that names of the three fighters evoke, respectively.

Reaver - You don't even have to look up the word reave to understand it isnt pleasant.

Scythe - Sounds like it would effortlessly chop you in half.

Mosquito - It might give you west nile virus or malaria at worst, but mostly likely its just going to annoy you and you are going obliterate it with your hand.

I think the mosquito deserves a much more terrifying or badass name.

So do you think it should be given a new name, or does the current name hold too much sentimental value to be replaced?

The wasp is a pretty terrible name, go with that.

I would say yes but they've played into the name with it's design in PS2. The Mosquito looks more like an insect now.

The mosquito has killed enough people through the centuries to be considered by many to be the most dangerous creature on earth.

I'd say the name is fine.

If a vehicle from PS1 were called the Dongsnatcher, I wouldn't want it renamed to something pompous like "the Killdozer". Too much sentimental value to replace it with something bland and generic.

Wasp isn't a great name either but Id be more wary of a wasp then a mosquito. There are other insects related to wasps that can kill you or at the very least put you in agonizing pain.
