As stated clearly in the OP. All production must stop until this is added.

I vote yes for this, which i think would be especially cool in galaxy dropships as people hot-drop out.

I also think the sunderer opening up via doors which soldiers pile out of would be cool.

That would be epic. Pilot would have to open the back doors for people to get up and drop out the back of the ship, instead of just falling out from under its belly. MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

This would be nice. But enter/exit animations are going to be more bang for your immersion buck (as it affects anybody getting into any vehicle, not just passengers). So that first, please.

Add a fourth/third utility slot for vehicles were you put in playing cards and I'm game.

This would be a nice touch.

Bonus points assigned if there's more to do inside than just be super-glued to your seat moving your head.

For example:

Make seat switching a process of actually getting up and walking over to a different seat.
The process of switching between turrets would be much more interesting this way. Extensions of this mechanic:
1. Turrets would be controlled from specific locations inside the vehicle. This could be a number of consoles or access hatches at specific locations. Switching from one gun to another would require physically moving through the vehicle.
2. Dropping from a Gal could be an action performed while in a specific seat, tube, or other depending on how the Gal is modded.
3. They talked about letting people fire out of ports on the sunderer, actual firing ports could make that significantly more interesting.

Various interiors depending on vehicle upgrades.
The Gal being the poster child for this. Depending on what mods you're using your Gal might have a series of seats that drop their occupants through the floor on cue, a set of drop pods for people to load into, or a back ramp that can be used to load vehicles.

Widgets, firing ports, windows, and other useful things.
Adding things like map tables, radar screens, status indicators, and other useful things to the Gal would provide troops with things to occupy themselves with during a flight. The map in particular could even be interactive, and used for squad planning. There's some opportunity here to add more customization as well, cosmetic and otherwise.

I would like to see this because I think it would really add to the immersion. Doesn't necessarily need to be in at launch though. Could easily go into a big content patch or even an expansion if they decide to make any.

This is something that definitely isn't in the game right now, but could be on its way. Obviously this thread is pointless if so, but as it is, we don't know either way.

I'm talking of course about detailed vehicle interiors like the driver's seat/cockpit, but for passengers. The idea being that you'd be able able to free-look around the interiors of transport vehicles in first person, and see other players. Not entirely unlike this:

Obviously it'd be a lot darker inside a Galaxy/Sunderer

In an ideal world, instead of looking at a top down third person camera, this is what I'd like the experience of hot dropping from a Galaxy to be like. Minus the nanosuits and parachutes.

I've never liked only having a third person perspective to look at upon entering a vehicle in a first person game. Most modern shooters with vehicle elements seem to opt for fully-modelled interiors, and it's something that I think a major portion of PS2's desired audience would rather not be without. There are things that contemporary FPS games do very well, and this is one of them.

You should be able to remain in first-person regardless of the vehicle/spot you're in, it shouldn't be partial. A lot of people, myself included, cannot stand the disjointedness of a forced 3p camera in a first person game.

What say you?
Ahem.. you forgot the BF3 Singleplayer parachute scene, probably one of the best scenes in the game, other than the plane strafing your team

But i would like it to look like this, would add awesomeness to Gal Drops and climbing out of the Sunderer and seeing explosions all around and stuff, would be amazing.

Ah, my bad there, I never really got into BF3s SP campaign, and I uninstalled the game a few weeks ago. Feel free to jump in game and capture me some screenies though!

I like this idea because for a Galaxy it could remove the tactical view of the battlefield from a majority of the occupants. This would force communication from the gunners of the galaxy to the passengers before they drop. Also, being inside and looking around while the Galaxy gets pounded by flak and shakes everybody around would be intense. That would up immersion a ton. I never did like the floaty camera in the air passenger seat.

Interiors are good, especially if you make machinimas. Same goes for emotes and other animations.

Would love to see this, I fully expect each vehicle interior to have a case of futuristic MRE's as well.

I honestly assumed that this was already in the game. I guess I just assumed that it was already there since I've always played FPS games that has it.

Cant really imagine playing without it either tbh. It's just one of those things that adds to the immersion so much I dont see why they would leave it out.

This is definitely one of the things I've liked the most about the battlefield games.

it would be cool to have it in ps2 as well.

Someone else had a green light idea for the Galaxy that would go perfect with this. When it you were over the drop zone the pilot would activate the green light and buzzard signaling passengers to drop.

I'm sorry, but would that not be the definition of epic?
