Also AFAIK Reddit was not the source of the original leak and I wasn't referring to Reddit or I would have said Reddit.

It's not up to Hamma to police who will try and download content posted on the Internet. If it's on his site, that's a different story. This is a job for SOE to do... Hamma's job is to keep us in-the-know about things such as this so it doesn't blow up on the forums though. I think that's what he did here.

Being able to download it early would be great, since you could just patch and play once you are in the beta.

I guess I don't mind waiting till I'm actually invited.

Waiting for that download to finish will be intense though.

Probably wouldn't be a good idea, the client would probably change completely between the E3 version and the Beta version.

I still believe that this was done on purpose. The fact that it accessible through the Station LaunchPad is just a little bit too easy for it to have been an accident.

I think it was more of an "oh shit" moment when they realised and quickly patched it up.
