One thing I'm wondering is if the tracks are not a tad too fast and not ambient enough.

EDIT: Ah ! That's what it is. The warning tracks (i.e. "hold your breath before combat" kind of music) are not in the leak

Wont really change my opinion. Unless the guys that do the Guitar for the NC are smart, and edit the pace to make it sound better.

I already said I like TR's the best anyway even before they bring in an orchestra to make it better.

And still I think the Main Themes which are mostly remix of PS1 songs completely steal the show here.

Listening to some of these tracks even if they are not finished gives me goose bumps!

They bring back that feeling and all those memories of the glorious battles!

So VS Techno, NC Rock and TR Classical. Have to go with the TR. Like others have posted epic movie like tracks of TR way better then the TV series sound of the NC and VS tracks.

VS is Number one.

TR has some good tracks, and the NC have some great travel themes.

Still, VS is crazy good. When do we actually hear these songs? All the time

I was expecting more song like this one for the TR

Aside from the obvious 80s influence, the NC songwriter's also influenced by Soundgarden :x

12 minutes total seems a bit short. I would expect more along the lines of 20-30 minutes for each empire.

Well Higby did say they were going to re-record them all, so I wouldn't be too surprised if what we are currently hearing are the basic elements of each track, which will be expanded upon for the final recording.

We'll have to wait and see for sure I guess, but that's my theory.

the vs got the best without a doubt but the tr isn't too shabby. nc was kinda ridiculous but that just fits the nc :P

Yeah, they need a major rewrite.
TR has majestic Orchestra which evoke order/unity.
VS has bubbling Trance/Techno which evoke the otherworldly/mysterious.
NC has wild Rock which evoke passion/rebellion.

Where's the passion or anger?

Even if they remake those with real guitars and drums, it would still be slow.
