My Pc's a peice of poop, but it makes a good coffee and walks the dog sometimes
Ontopic, I'd say NVidia is just gearing up for the release. They must have the Sli driver based on the information the devs had given them. I'd guess beta is just around the corner....., (Peeks)..., no, sorry, it's not there :-( |

Considering i have a 580 which only 1.2% of gamers on steam have and only 1.6% have a 570, I dont think you have to worry about your card not being enough. It will run on massively less. Plus keep in mind they will want it to eventually run on their new console which will be pathetically weak compared to those cards. And btw a 670 is basically on par with a 580 but needing far less juice so its only around 15% more powerful than your 570 depending on the game of course. In otherwords you arent missing much, so as long as you arent using a terribad cpu, then you should be able to max out the game or darn near it.

BF3: 35% increase 2033: 24% increase Ark City: 27% increase Dirt 3: 25% increase Portal 2: 31% increase Skyrim: 11% increase Shogun: 33% increase Starcraft 2: 34% increase It's a bit more than 15%. Around 26% for those games, but Skyrim is more CPU, no? (1080p) http://www.anandtech.com/show/5818/n...ew-feat-evga/1 |

you know, everyone here is repping nvidia, I wonder how well this will work out for my radeon hd 7850. : D Running a good system, amd 8120 cpu and a sabertooth 990fx motherboard. I just recently heard about the differences with this physx engine. You know... When I try and run 3dmark11 my physics test always seems a little slower than it should be. Anyone know how this will work out? I guess during beta they'll be looking for people running the competitions hardware, too?

i HAD two 470s. needed a wirless card for a few weeks. well installing it or something ruined the bottom vid card. pulled the wirless out, both water cooled cards worked much better. but forever cuts out every once in a while crashing the system
so i did what any in saine person would do. i took the wirless card. threw it into the wall. burned it with my lighter, submerged it and finnished it off with a hammer. made the whole computer watch, as a lesson to never break down because ill get irrational like that. i then went and purchased a gtx690 and a bag of rice to eat for the month. |

well if your running a radeon card and it does happen to use a physx engine youll need a decent cpu to manage all the physics calculations, however, it may not, and the newer radeon cards 4--- series and up, I believe, support physics rendering through OpenCL. The catalyst drivers help with this. I just read all of this in a forum, www.overclock.net
